No. The first exchange — where we review your situation and describe what work would involve — costs nothing. A fee only applies if you choose to proceed after receiving the scope.
How much detail do I need to provide?
A brief description of the situation is sufficient. We will ask for more if we need it. Attaching relevant documents at this stage is helpful but not required.
Do you work with individuals as well as companies?
Yes. Kelp Path Field works with both individuals and businesses. The nature of the engagement differs, but the process of opening a matter is the same for both.
What happens if my matter is outside your scope?
We will say so clearly and, where possible, suggest a more appropriate direction. We do not take on matters we cannot handle well.
